Lucky Skills Treasure Chest Location and Hunt Guide

This week's Treasure Hunt is one of the hardest yet added to a Season in Forza Horizon 5. The Lucky Skills riddle can take a while to work out, and when it is solved, the activity is glitching for some. When the first part of the hunt is completed, the Lucky Skills Treasure Chest must then be found, and it's located in one of the most treacherous terrains on the map.

To help players clear this Series 3 Autumn Festival Challenge as soon as possible, the following guide will explain how to solve the hunt riddle, and then where to find the Lucky Skills Treasure Chest in Forza Horizon 5.

Lucky Skills Treasure Hunt Riddle Solution

The clue for the Lucky Skills Treasure Hunt reads: "Cause a wreck in the Nissan GT-R '17 matching the generation number for tries!." Basically, it wants players to achieve 17 Wreckage Skills in the GT-R.

To complete the first part of the Lucky Skills hunt quickly, players should:

  1. Get in the 2017 Nissan GT-R or buy it for 132,000 Credits in Forza Horizon 5.
  2. Drive or Fast Travel in Forza Horizon 5 to El Estadio Stadium, center-north on the map.
  3. Drive around the rim of the stadium, smashing into the trees, benches, and bins found between the building and the car park.

Earning a Wreckage Skill 17 times anywhere on the map will also count, but it is best to head to the stadium if players wish to complete the first part of the hunt as quickly as possible. The challenge is glitching for some, however, so players may need to earn more than 17 Wreckage Skills to clear the start of the Lucky Skills Hunt.

Where to Find Lucky Skills Treasure Chest

The Lucky Skills Treasure Chest in Forza Horizon 5 is located just above the Eliminator symbol on the map, on top of a flat area of land overlooking the main dirt road. It's on the left-hand side of the road. If players are finding it difficult to spot, they can go into the drone perspective, or use Photo Mode to search the jagged area quicker.

Once players have located the Lucky Skills Treasure chest above the Eliminator symbol in Forza Horizon 5, they just need to smash into it to complete the Weekly Challenge.

Lucky Skills Treasure Hunt Rewards

For completing both parts of the Lucky Skills Treasure Hunt, players will receive 50,000 Credits, and 3 Season/Series Points. These Points count toward unlocking the exclusive Donkervoort GTO and Toyota AT37 cars in Autumn Series 3.

The 3 Points also matter if trying to unlock the two exclusive Series 3 vehicles: the Zenvo TS1 and Ford Mustang '71. All four vehicles' exclusive status means they can't be bought in Forza Horizon 5 from the Autoshow.

Forza Horizon 5 is out now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
